New York City properties

Amid the ever-evolving New York hotel landscape, Kimpton's four Big Apple properties are keeping pace with a slate of refurbishments and other changes.

The 292-room Eventi in Chelsea recently completed a redo of its facade and lobby, and its Vine lounge now features food and cocktail menus overseen by chef Laurent Tourondel, owner of the adjacent L'Amico restaurant, which opened in September.

Cocktails include the ShandyGaff (Suze bitters, lemon, ginger and Westbrook White Thai beer) and the Smokin' Margarita (El Tesoro Platinum tequila, Las Hormigas mescal, lime, agave and fennel pollen-citrus salt), while diners can choose from items such as white mushroom pizza (topped with truffle paste, sage and fontina and taleggio cheeses) and wood oven-roasted chicken (served with broccoli rabe and lemon confit).

At the Theater District's Muse Hotel, meanwhile, renovation to all 200 guestrooms is underway: Work on the property's standard guestrooms is complete, while renovation of its Premier rooms and suites is scheduled to be completed by the end of Q1 2016.

Hell's Kitchen's Ink48 is scheduled to complete renovations to all 222 of its rooms by Aug. 30. A redo of the property's facade is underway and set for completion by the end of the year.

Its recently renovated two-story penthouse, dubbed the Heaven Over Hell Suite, is designed to cater to weddings and other special events as well as luxury stays, offering floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city skyline and Hudson River and a 2, 200-square-foot private terrace.

Midtown's 70 Park Avenue also recently completed a refresh, which includes a refurbished lobby, an updated cafe and new elevators.

Through March 6, the property is offering the Skate at #WinterVillage Winter Package, tied to the Winter Village ice rink at nearby Bryant Park. Priced starting at $365 per night, double, it includes two nights' accommodations, four tickets for Winter Village skate rentals, roundtrip shuttle service to the park and a $25 gift card for use at Silverleaf Coffee and Tea.
